Position: CNC Operator
Salary: £28,000
Location: Wellingborough
Proactive are currently working with a client who are a market leader in their field based in Wellingborough.
The client are currently in need of a CNC Operator. The need is due to rapid company growth, the successful candidate will be joining a thriving business and be helping maintain the site's function through this exciting influx of work.
Overview:
Under limited supervision, machine standard and special components for bespoke MMD machines to schedule.
Machine parts using manual and CNC machines (milling and lathe).
Keeping records of time and material used on jobs.
Support engineering and production with any changes to machine build.
Support engineering with parts for research and development.
Hours of work - 37.5 per week
Experience/Qualifications:
CNC and manual machining knowledge and 3-5 years' experience.
Knowledge of working with Prototract, SLX, Siemens, Shopmill (would be an advantage but training will be provided)
Read mechanical drawings.
Mechanical skills.
General problem-solving skills and practical aptitude.
Ability to work as part of a team and display a willingness to learn and put skills into practice.
Excellent communication.
