08:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday at a Children's Centre/Nursery in Camden

If you are looking for a Permanent position working with youn Children in a Nursery setting this is for you!

What your role will involve:

Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.

To provide high quality integrated day care and early education to children from birth to 7 years within a multi-disciplinary team and in line with the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child

Supervise the children on outdoor activities and fun trips

Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding

Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment

Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.

Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.

Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents

Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults

Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children.

A good understanding of child development in line with the EYFS

What are the requirements:

A full and relevant Level 2 childcare qualification or higher

Hold a valid DBS (Conducted in the last 12 months)

Have at least 1-2 Years UK experience working with Young Children in a Nursery or Children's centre

Have a good level of English (written & verbal) skills

MUST be happy to provide personal care to Young Children

A good understanding of child development in line with the EYFS

Candidates with the experience or relevant job titles of: Nursery Practitioner, Childrens Support Worker, Early Years Support Worker, Teaching Assistant, Nursery TA, Early Years Practitioner, SEN Assistant, SEND, Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker, Community Support Worker and Special Needs Support will be considered for this role
