About the role

At Historic Royal Palaces, we are a team of people who love and look after six of the most wonderful palaces in the world: Hampton Court Palace, the Tower of London, Kensington Palace, the Banqueting House, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle and Gardens.

We have ambitious plans to make the history of our palaces accessible to everyone, putting audiences at the heart of everything we do. As we develop our output in this area, we have created a new role of Audience Insight Analyst within our Marketing Team to help develop our data capability so we can demonstrate the UK-wide reach of our activities and to ensure we’re making data-driven decisions. This role will have the unique opportunity to work with teams across HRP to seek new ways of gathering and analysing data, develop insights drawing on findings from primary and secondary research, and to help shape a data and analytics strategy.

About you

The post-holder will have demonstrable experience in market research and be able to communicate findings in easily understood reports, making clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They will also bring knowledge and expertise in various analyst tools that will enable teams to make the most of their audience and operational data and will work with stakeholders to identify data collection, analysis, and visualisation projects to support their long-term goals.

The role will require someone able to work independently as a specialist whilst collaborating with stakeholders across different locations.
