The role

With a robust pipeline of interesting civil engineering and public realm design projects, the Senior Highways Design Engineer will join the Highways and Infrastructure team and lead on the delivery of various TfL Safer Junction and Healthy Streets design projects.

You will also be tasked with managing multiple projects and leading delivery teams on schemes including town centre redevelopments, new cycle ways, civic squares, junction improvements and carriageway maintenance schemes to name a few.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

* Coordinating and cooperating with the Contractor throughout the design and built

* Assisting the delivery team to ensure project work is technically correct

* Managing projects in accordance with Client requirements

* Helping to support junior team members to produce exceptionally high-quality outputs

About you

The Senior Highways Design Engineer would ideally have a couple of years of London-centric experience under their belt. They will bring energy and enthusiasm to the team and have keen client and stakeholder liaison skills. It would be great if you can tick off most of the below:

* Proven experience on the use of DMRB, MfS 1&2, TSM, LTN 1/20 and TfL Street Toolkit

* Strong CAD skills (Civil 3D desirable)

* Proven ability to deliver to time and budget.

* Familiar with NEC form of contract and Document Control and Common Data Environment (CDE) software
