Desktop Support Manager London based (with occasional travel) Introduction Our client, a leading insurance company in the IT sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Desktop Support Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of 8 skilled IT Support Engineers. The position is based in London, with occasional travel required to our offices in Bournemouth and Stockport. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of IT Support Engineers, providing guidance and support in day-to-day operations
Ensure efficient and effective delivery of IT support services to all employees
Collaborate closely with other teams to deliver IT projects and initiatives successfully
Utilize your ITIL experience to implement best practices and improve service delivery
Oversee asset management, ensuring accurate inventory and timely replacements
Demonstrate strong expertise across the Microsoft Suite, troubleshooting software and hardware issues
Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes
Proactively monitor systems and address potential IT challenges before they impact operationsJob Requirements

Significant experience in IT support, with a focus on desktop support
Proven track record in managing and leading a team of IT professionals
In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Suite and other relevant software
Experience in asset management, including inventory tracking and procurement
Strong understanding of ITIL methodologies
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to proactively identify and address IT challenges
