TSA Surveying are hiring a Principal Fire Engineer for a large multi-national inspection and compliance consultancy, specialising in infrastructure, and real estate advisory.

To support the ambitious growth plans, they have a great opportunity to join our Building and Real Estate Division. The Fire Engineering and Safety teams provide an award-winning, flexible, and forward-thinking approach, as well as a high level of technical capability, providing their clients with cost-effective and practical solutions for the full range of fire safety problems.

We’re looking for a proactive, flexible and reliable Fire Safety Engineer to join the team, with experience in a similar role and who possesses a recognised fire safety engineering qualification. Working across a variety of projects both autonomously and as part of a wider team, tasks you will be required to undertake as part of your role include (but are not limited to): Design development and fire safety strategies, preparing fire safety assessments for external walls, CFD Modelling, client liaising, writing fee proposals and graduate mentoring.

* A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (mechanical, structural, civil or a similar field)

* Proven background in fire safety and good understanding of fire engineered solutions

* Working towards or have achieved chartership status and full membership with the IFE (Institution of Fire Engineers)

* At least four years’ experience in fire safety engineering

* Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
