SEND & PMLD Learning Support Assistant -Croydon

Full-TimeEmpowering Learning Ltd are looking to appoint outstanding SEND & PMLD Learning Support Assistants in the Croydon area with experience supporting SEND students, particularly to work with students with Profound Multiple Learning difficulties. We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals who are hands on and can support students with physical needs; assisting with personal care such as hygiene and feeding, manual handling and assisting with therapy sessions to support students to reach the best of their abilities. You will also be responsible for promoting an inclusive learning environment. This position is for position starting ASAP and can start straight away for the right person. Hours of work 8.30 till 4pm.

Job Responsibilities

Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 and group basis
Supervising children in & out of the classroom
Encourage and support the pupils learning
Helping the teacher prepare for lessons and plan activitiesBenefits to you

Have knowledge and experience with PMLD students
Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities
Strong communication skills
Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
Available 5 days a week and able to commit
Able to commit to 3-6 months and potentially longerWe do not offer or accept sponsorship
