About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students, fostering a love for geography and helping them achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities:
· Plan and deliver engaging and effective geography lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
· Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
· Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to promote active learning and critical thinking skills.
· Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
· Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the geography department and the school as a whole.
· Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
Requirements:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with a relevant degree in Geography or a related field.
· Strong subject knowledge and a passion for geography education.
· Experience teaching geography at the secondary level, preferably in a UK school setting.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
· Commitment to promoting the school’s values and ethos, including equality, diversity, and inclusion.
