Client: My Client is a family-owned business with a turnover in excess of £150 million per annum. They mainly operate within the new build residential sector but also do projects in the Education and public sector. They have been trading for 50 years and have become a significant contractor within London, Essex and Hertfordshire. They typically work on projects around £15m in build value.
Role: Mechanical Estimator – East London – Salary £45,000 - £55,000 + Package
The successful candidate will be working out of their South Woodford head office working on a portfolio of projects within London, Essex and Hertfordshire.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the accurate estimation of all mechanical tenders/bids.
* Work closely with the main divisional estimating teams.
* To check tender specifications and working drawings for projects and give advice to delivery teams.
* Assist in negotiations and development of tenders.
* Attend client interviews where required.
* Prepare reports for M&E Head of Department.
* Perform any other reasonable duties requested by your manager.
