Estimator

We are currently representing a Façade Main Contractor who are currently looking for a proactive Estimator, who has a strong background in Cladding industry.

The duties would involve:

* Assessment of incoming enquiries for suitability and risk.

* Analysis of any potential technical issues including liaising with relevant consultants, architects and clients to bring to a successful conclusion.

* Preparation and submission of sub-contract and materials enquiries and assessment of incoming quotations for suitability/ value.

* Attend and conduct meetings with client, consultant.

* Carry out full take off and detailed pricing.

* Working alongside the team to close deals at the earliest.

* Training/mentor junior estimators whenever and wherever needed.

Experience/skills required:

* 2 years+ experience working in an Estimator role in UK.

* Experience of working with Estimating and Tendering tools would be preferred.

* A passion for pricing works with a keen eye for detail

* The ability to see opportunities for improving the profitability of projects at tender stage without compromising on the quality of the finish.

* A strong work ethic, flexibility, self-motivation and the ability to meet deadlines.

* Confident and able to communicate effectively with a variety of clients, suppliers, sub-contractors and stakeholders
