Elevate are recruiting a Housing Advisor position for one of our valued clients.
The candidates core responsibilities will consist of:
* Conduct housing advice interviews with local private sector residents, preventing homelessness and giving quality advice.
* Advise on matters relating to landlord and tenant disputes, negotiate with landlords preventing homelessness.
* Effectively Liaises with other agency’s
* Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and meet expectations of own workload.
* Accurate record keeping of actions and outcomes.
* Advocate for customers during court proceedings and injunctions.
* Actively contribute to the councils priorities and outcomes.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and communities
Candidates should have experiences of working in the Housing sector or a similar position
