Amber Mace are recruiting on behalf of a residential home dedicated to providing high-quality care for Elderly & Dementia individuals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in care management and experience in Residential Home. A genuine passion for improving the lives of others, and the ability to create a nurturing and empowering atmosphere.

You will oversee the day-to-day running of this care home for the elderly, some of whom are living with dementia and other age-related conditions.

As Home Manager, your key responsibilities will centre on management of staff, care delivery to residents, recruitment, training, and ensuring that the home is run in accordance with company and CQC policies and procedures.

Main Duties:

* To manage the day to day running of the home, ensuring the highest level of care standards are upheld

* To maintain occupancy levels within the service

* To assist with the recruitment for the home

* To support service users to ensure that their physical, social and emotional needs are met

* To maintain & improve CQC standards

experience and qualifications:

* Proven CQC Registered manager experience in a Residential Care home

* Knowledge of CQC legislation and standards, compliance and quality

* Great understand of budgets, HR,Management and staff appraisale

* Experience caring for the elderly

* Access to your own transport is essential due to location

Key Responsibilities:

* Leadership and Management:

-Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential care home.

-Provide effective leadership to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.

-Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.

* Quality of Care:

-Implement and monitor care plans to meet the individual needs of residents.

-Conduct regular assessments to ensure the delivery of person-cantered care.

-Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.

* Staff Development:

-Recruit, train, and supervise staff, promoting continuous professional development.

-Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

* Resident and Family Engagement:

-Build strong relationships with residents and their families to understand and address their concerns and preferences.

-Organize and oversee activities that enhance the well-being of residents.

* Budget Management:

-Manage the financial aspects of the home, including budgeting and cost control.

-Ensure resources are utilized efficiently to provide quality care.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Home Manager within a residential care setting.

* Relevant qualification in health and social care (NVQ Level 5 or equivalent).

* Strong leadership and management skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards.
