Kurt J. Lesker Company is the leading global provider of high-quality vacuum equipment. From our facility in Hastings, we work on applications and manufacture bespoke systems for exciting projects such as space launches, 5G technology, OLED TV’s, flexible solar panels to name just a few.
The fixed working pattern for this position is (evening shift) Monday – Thursday 13.30pm – 00.00pm (40 hours)
The role:
* Setting work pieces, running direct and remote programs from engineering drawings, on both horizontal and vertical HAAS milling machines
* Programming bespoke designs using CAM software and identify any programming errors
What we would expect from you:
* Previous experience using multi axis machines
* Capable using various machine controls and conversational machine programmes
* HNC/HND in mechanical engineering or equivalent proven experience
* Aptitude for team leading
