Head of Quality Governance - Maternity Services

Finegreen are supporting a large NHS organisation in the recruitment of a Head of Quality Governance - Maternity Services based in the South East Coast.
This is an interim position for 3 – 4 months initially with a competitive rate.
The post holder will be required to work on site, assisting with the improvement plan for maternity services and holding extensive clinical governance expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
* To work under the direction of the Director of Midwifery;
* Efficently oversee the CNST submission;
* Support the delivery of agreed objectives, targets and quality standards, which supports the organisation to achieve positive patient outcomes;
* Develop and ensure all patients receive excellent clinical care;
* Develop positive working relationships with other clinicians and managers to ensure that the organisation is at the forefront of best professional practice and service delivery;
* No line management responsibilities required for the position.
Successful candidate will have:
* Registered Midwife with the NMC;
* Excellent understanding of local and national issues and drivers relating to Midwifery and the wider NHS;
* Extensive quality governance, improvement, and assurance expertise within clinical governance;
* Strong understanding of the CNST submission;
* Excellent communication and reporting writing skills
