Maintenance Engineer 

Location: Enstone-Chipping Norton, UK
Shift Schedule:4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern (Week 1: 6am - 4:30pm, Week 2: 10am - 8:30pm)

Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Engineer/Electrical Technician and enjoy a fantastic work-life balance! We are seeking talented individuals to support both reactive and preventative maintenance activities at our Enstone site. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work only 6 months a year, ensuring you have ample time for personal pursuits.

Key Responsibilities of this Maintenance Engineer position:
- Maintenance Tasks: Conduct planned preventative maintenance and execute reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Equipment Handling: Work with heavy machinery such as drag chain conveyors, screw conveyors, belt and bucket elevators, mixing equipment, weighing equipment, boilers, and steam plant.
- Electrical and Mechanical Safety: Safeguard the site both electrically and mechanically, ensuring all tasks are completed safely.
- Plant Operations: Swiftly resolve plant breakdowns, engage and motivate teams, and maintain a productive environment.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety, feed safety, and quality standards.

Experience and Qualifications required for this Maintenance Engineer position:
- Education: Relevant qualifications such as NVQ, B-tech, or City & Guilds. City & Guilds Electrical qualification desired.
- Experience: Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or FMCG environments. PLC fault-finding experience is advantageous.
- Skills: Good knowledge of health and safety legislation. Experience with maintenance systems and confined space, welding/fabrication qualifications, 18th Edition, PASAM, FLT, BOAS is a plus but not required.
