Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team in Fareham. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that our customers receive their products in a timely manner and in perfect condition.
Key Responsibilities:
* Pick orders from designated locations within the warehouse using handheld devices or pick sheets.
* Pack orders securely and neatly according to company standards.
* Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of orders.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management as required.
* Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines.
* Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the appropriate supervisor.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred but not essential.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
* Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move objects.
* Willingness to follow company policies and procedures.
