Our client is a world leading exporter of some of the world’s most recognised brands in the luxury goods sector.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a fantastic opportunity for a German and English speaking Credit Controller to join a small but very friendly and supportive international team. You will be responsible for all collection duties for their German speaking client accounts as well as rest of the world accounts (UK, Ireland, Middle East etc) and your role will include the following duties and responsibilities:
* Allocation of cash receipts top the appropriate customer account
* Sending letters, email and making telephone calls for overdue payments
* Setting credit limits, releasing orders and closing/opening customer accounts
* Analyse cash receipts and post payments to the appropriate customer accounts
* Credit checking new and existing customers
* Liaising with other departments within the export team to ensure good relationships with clients and agents in Germany
* Providing copies of invoice and paperwork to customers
* Bank transfers, posting journals and taking credit card payments
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
* Fluent English and a good working knowledge of German (German does not need to be completely fluent)
* Previous experience in accounts, finance or credit control is an advantage
* A good knowledge of Excel and spreadsheets
* A clear and confident communicator
* Effective at prioritising and able to work to deadlines and under pressure
SALARY
* £33,000 - £37,000 pa depending on experience plus benefits
* WORKING HOURS ARE MONDAY TO FRIDAY, ALTERNATING BETWEEN 8.00 - 16.00 OR 9.00 - 17.00
