Senior Project Design Engineer

As a Senior Project Designer, you will manage and coordinate a large portfolio of new connection and network alteration projects designed and installed by Independent Connection Providers (ICPs) across all three license areas in UK Power Networks footprint.

You will also produce accurate and cost-effective quotations, designs and work packs for non-contestable works, and review third-party contestable works designs, ensuring they conform with all relevant UKPN technical standards and Codes of Practice

To be successful in this role, you will need a Higher National Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, an understanding of UK Power Networks' electrical distribution system, and an awareness of the broader CiC market and the regulatory obligations.

You will also need to be able and willing to travel between the core UKPN office locations.
