Are you an experienced Developer looking for a new and exciting challenge within a vastly expanding business in the Redhill are?

Woking as part of the IT team, you will be responsible for the development and support of our clients web-based energy management portal and the various data feeds that bring data into the platform. This involves helping to Identify and develop solutions to both enhance the functionality to our users and improve the resilience / scalability that supports future growth. The winning candidate will play both a strategic role in the business, helping to shape the product and the architecture, but will also adopt a ‘hands on’ approach to development.

Role: Lead Full Stack Developer

Location: Redhill

Salary: £55,000 to £60,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hour week, 8am to 6pm, hybrid option (min 3 days in the office)

Technical skills needed:

* Front-end – CSS, JavaScript, Metronic, Angular (nice to have)

* Back end – PHP, MySQL, AWS

* Development Tools – Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence

* Automated Jobs / Data Migration – VBA (nice to have), Python (nice to have)

You will need to possess a high degree of tenacity, have the skills required to deliver fit for purpose solutions, both to the business and clients in a timely and professional manner.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Experience of refactoring code to improve reuse of code and improve performance & resilience.

* Worked with regular data feeds and have experience of ETL type tools for managing multiple disparate feeds.

What will your working week involve?

* Design, develop and maintain our systems to satisfy business needs.

* Discussion and agreement of requirements with internal stakeholders / external clients.

* Propose solutions, often in collaboration with colleagues

* Design and implement solutions using appropriate development tools.

* Update requirement and project tracking tools at appropriate points to keep key stakeholders up to date.

* Test projects and respond to any problems or bugs revealed.

* Ensure appropriate documentation for the size of task is created.

* Build knowledge of the live business systems as required.

* Support and troubleshoot issues in the live systems.
