Senior Practice Accountant

Salary: Starting at £38,613 per annum, DOE
Contract: Full time, Permanent

Are you experienced within a busy accountancy firm? Have you completed your professional exams or are you experienced in both accounts prep and audit work?
If you’re looking to take the next step in your career, then you’ll be joining an excellent accounts and audit team based in Glasgow, as an A&A Senior, playing a vital part with wide ranging clients from small start-up businesses to significantly sized groups across a range of sectors.

In order to be successful in this Senior Practice Accountant you must be able to:
* Prepare year-end statutory accounts, with an understanding of FRS 102.
* Delegate to junior members of the team whilst supporting them in their development.
* Build lasting client relationships.
* Research client accountancy issues and can hold meaningful conversations with clients and colleagues to the rules and regulations of doing business in the UK.
And be:
* ICAS or ACCA qualified
* Aware of WIP and fee targets
* Forward-thinking with a drive for continuous improvement
* Able to or will have just started reviewing junior work
* Keen for progression
