HV Electrical Technicians
Location: Northern Scotland & Glasgow
8 hours per day 5 days a week
Rate: £28ph CIS
Accommodation provided.
Contract length: 6 months
About the Job:
Be part of a transformative project aimed at upgrading the existing grid infrastructure by installing new synchronous condensers at two strategic locations over a 6-month period.
About you:
You will be skilled in High Voltage and installing SCADA/PLC panelling, earthing connections, LV cables, assembly of junction boxes and interconnections between the current transformers and the junction boxes as well as testing and maintaining records.
Ensure all electrical work activities are carried out safely to a high standard under the permit to work system where applicable.
Knowledgeable in HSE standards and guidelines

SHEA Power Passport
ECS
18th Edition Regulations (Desirable)
