Position: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Salary / Package: £24k - £38k DOE + Company Vehicle, Training Opportunities
Leading Scottish asbestos consultancy are currently recruiting for a professional and reliable surveyor to cover contracts across the Central Belt of Scotland. The company boasts a mixed portfolio of clients, covering everything from smaller domestic contracts, right through to larger scale industrial / commercial projects. The role would suit an asbestos surveyor with well-rounded experience, who's key focus is variety within the projects they work on. Holding the P402 and site experience is essential. However, the company can offer the right candidate opportunities to gain further P certs and analytical experience.
Locations: Glasgow, Paisley, Clydebank, East Kilbride, Cumbernauld, Airdrie, Wishaw, Lanark, Falkirk, Bathgate, Livingston, Queensferry, Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
Experience:
- P402 (essential)
- Minimum of 6 months site experience
- Ideally experience working across domestic, commercial and industrial sites.
- Strong IT skills, ideally with experience using PDA and industry related software.
- Team player with a flexible attitude.
The Role:
- Travelling across the Central Belt of Scotland; undertaking management, demolition & refurbishment asbestos surveys.
- Working across a mixed portfolio of sites including domestic, local authority, commercial and industrial.
- Carrying asbestos bulk sampling.
- Producing asbestos reports following site visits.
- Working to HSG 264 guidelines.
- Liaising with lead consultants, management and clients regarding works conducted.
- Representing the business in a professional manner at all times.
