An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to head up the HR Functions for a well-known Food manufacturer in Edinburgh.

Salary & Shifts: Some Hybrid work allowed (Salary £35-£42K)

The Role

* In this stand-alone role, you will take the lead in ensuring effective employee and industrial relations, adherence to company and statutory policies and procedures and management of the site's hourly paid recruitment strategy.

* Partner with site leadership to develop a people plan that supports site objectives and lead on all HR-related activities – including employee relations, industrial relations, restructures, employee engagement, labour and strategic workforce planning, talent strategy and people development plans.

* Management/Training/inclusion/career development/ talent building)

* Employee relations - provide an accessible and professional HR function whereby employee queries and issues are resolved in an appropriate, timely and legally compliant manner, minimising risk of litigation, and improving communications

* Payroll accurately delivers monthly payroll activity and contributes to HR system development activity.

* Ensure effective HR administration of all activity within policy and procedure.

Requirements

* Have good generalist experience ideally within a manufacturing or head office environment.

* A practical understanding of employment legislation and law will ensure you provide professional, confident, and accurate employment advice at all levels, up to and including dismissal.

* CIPD Qualified
