Structural Engineer
Due to continued project wins, we are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to come join one of our clients based in the central belt. With a solid pipeline of work this would best suit someone who is looking for longevity and progression. Our client works on some of the most prestigious projects throughout the UK. The industries they work in include, Education, Residential, leisure and much more. As a Structural Engineer you will have extensive experience in structural design and surveys. This opportunity would ideally suit someone who has a passion for Structural Engineering and working with new technologies to push the technical and operational side of the team forward. Our client will ensure you are a key point of contact within their growing team.
The key responsibilities include:
* Inspection of buildings and structures and prepare the relevant reports.
* Prepare technical support for a rang of stakeholders.
* Continue to develop new ideas to help shape our clients business.
* Prepare specifications for remedial works.
* Authoring, development, assessment, maintenance and management of design changes/concessions
* Provide robust technical justification to allow for modifications to be authorised on projects.
* Apply appropriate theoretical and practical methods to design, develop, manufacture, construct, commission, operate, maintain, decommission and re-cycle engineering.
The requirements include:
* Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
* Minimum of 5 years experience within a similar role
* MICE or MIStructE (preferred)
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Excellent understanding of building structures
* Proficiency is IT systems such as AutoCAD
* Clean UK Driving Licence
