The Company

Our client is an ambitious and award-winning Consultancy providing support and advice to a range of clients delivering large scale complex infrastructure projects. They are currently seeking a Systems Engineering and Assurance Senior/Principal Consultant to join their team in the UK.

The Opportunity

This is a busy and challenging but rewarding role for a Systems Engineering and Assurance Senior/Principal Consultant ideally with 10+ years of experience. You will be joining a well-established and respected team of professionals in a supportive and progressive working environment.

The role will involve working with delivery teams, customers, regulatory bodies and other major stakeholders. The projects you will be involved in are highly complex and multidisciplinary in nature. You will be a Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) or working towards chartership with a recognised professional body. You will either support project teams in delivering systems engineering solutions for our clients or be responsible for managing resources and delivery of tasks.

* Engineering degree or equivalent

* Experience in at least one of the following:

* Requirements Management

* Verification and Validation

* System Integration, System Architecture, Interface Management

* Technical Assurance

* Configuration Management

* Experience in the rail industry

* Experience of relevant tools such as DOORS

* Experience of developing and implementing technical processes

* Sound skills to analyse complex systems and understand the interrelationships between various components

* Good knowledge of systems thinking principles

* Excellent communication skills at different levels and with multiple stakeholders

* Strong influencing and relationship-building skills

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Good commercial awareness

* Experience of leadership/management or teams or technical delivery (desirable)

* Consultancy experience (desirable)
