BIM Technician
KBM’s client is currently looking for an experienced BIM technician to come join them on a full-time, permanent basis. This would ideally suit someone who has previous experience working on prestigious projects across the UK. Due to an increase in project wins we are currently looking for talent BIM Technician to come join their growing team. Are you looking for a company who work on some of the most prestigious projects covering the UK?
As the BIM Technician you will be responsible for ensuring each project meet the specifications required. You will be a key point of contact within the Design team and will provide technical drawings and models where necessary.
The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Produce structural models, drawings and schedules.
* Liaise with senior managers, engineers and other stakeholders to produce drawings and blueprints for specific projects.
* Design technical solutions for buildings and other structures.
* Ensure all plans are accurate and can be easily interpretated.
* Transforming multiple plans and incorporating them into a single computer model which can then be used to build and maintain each projects requirement.
The key requirements include:
* Engineering / technical qualification
* Previous experience within a similar role
* Excellent working knowledge of BIM, ISO and BS relevant standards
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Customer focus – ability to fully understand their requirements and developing the relevant solutions
