Job Title: Class 1 HGV Driver - Ejector Trailer Specialist

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 am starts

Currently, we are recruiting a skilled and experienced Class 1 HGV Driver with expertise in operating Ejector Trailers for a timber recycling and manufacturing company based in Bellshill.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate Class 1 Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) to transport timber waste materials to and from designated locations.
* Utilize specialized skills in operating Ejector Trailers to facilitate the efficient loading and unloading of materials.
* Adhere to all relevant safety procedures and regulations while driving and operating equipment, ensuring the safety of oneself and others at all times.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects or issues promptly.
* Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any concerns or issues as they arise.
* Represent Staffing Network Scotland Ltd and the client company in a professional manner, providing excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders during deliveries and interactions.
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 HGV driving license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
* Proven experience and expertise in operating Ejector or Walking Floor Trailers, preferably within the timber or waste recycling industry.
* A strong commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
* Excellent driving record with no history of accidents or traffic violations.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Flexibility to work Monday to Friday with early morning starts as required.
* Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and clients.
* A positive attitude and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
