Planning Project Delivery Support Officer - Inside IR35

Contract Term: 12 Months

Location: Hybrid working (3 days per week in Belfast office and other onsite locations in Northern Ireland and 2 days WFH)

Role purpose:

The role is required to support the SEO to develop and deliver robust change management. The "Go Live" workstream is being mobilised to manage the transition to the permanent facilities at all points of entry and supporting other workstreams leads to deliver fully operational inspection facilities.

The main duties and responsibilities of the Planning Project Delivery Support Officer would be to:

Identify and deliver activities to provide fully operational SPS Facilities Working in partnership with key user groups (VSAHG/Plant Health, Local Councils) define and deliver a Go live plan for those aspects of port readiness
Identify and implement process improvements in the end to end trader journey
Support stakeholder engagement through leading on and chairing specific meetings or working groups with users
Supporting the key user groups through the transition process
Development of transition and customer handover plans through engagement with wider project team and stakeholders
Deliver advice on changing processes through delivering awareness sessions and preparing relevant written briefing updates for staff and site users
Work with business areas to coordinate and develop relevant training plans for sites users.You'll have:

Experience in supporting colleagues and other stakeholders through a significant change / transition in processes or goals
Experience in supporting large change management projects
Experience in the support of project delivery
A track record of building positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally, including senior management.
The ability to lead, develop, motivate and support staff.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written and have experience in preparing project papers/documentation and delivering presentations.
The ability to work on own initiative and provide a positive contribution to the overall success of the team
Access to a form of transport (as the post holder will be required to travel on official duty) which will enable you to fulfil your responsibilities in full. This includes travel to remote and rural locations in Northern Ireland, often inaccessible by public transport and travel to Great Britain the Republic of Ireland may also be required

It would be great if you also had:

A formal change management certification would be beneficial
