Mechanical Fitter
* Varied position that will see you support the installation, inspection, repair, maintenance and commissioning of capital plant equipment.
* Mostly customer site based, with workshop based work in between projects. Roughly 70% of the time servicing equipment at customer site, 30% in the workshop.
* No on call system, all day based work. Paid door to door with overtime rates starting after 40 hours.
Mechanical Fitter position, supporting the commissioning and maintenance of crushing machinery used within the quarry / aggregates sector. Chance to be a part of an exciting time within the business.
Salary: c£20.00 per hour + Overtime at x1.33 midweek. Days only role. 25 days holiday + banks.
This Mechanical Fitter job will suit:
* Knowledge and experience of working on heavy / quarry equipment or plant machinery.
* Capable of using a range of hand / power tools for assembly. Comfortable with technical engineering drawings.
* Basic welding skills and ideally have some hydraulic equipment knowledge.
* Comfortable travelling to customer sites.
