Axon Moore have an exciting opportunity for those starting their finance career! We are currently partnering with a successful, private equity backed business in Warrington to find an Accounts Assistant.
This role is perfect for candidates in the early stages of their AAT qualification/finance career or for those eager to kick start their career within finance.
You will gain invaluable experience across the transactional finance function, with the added bonus of having a talented Financial Controller as your mentor.
Duties will include:-
Purchase and Sales Ledger
•Enter invoices into the accounting system.
•Produce remittances for supplier payments.
•Checking / posting expense claims
•Credit card reconciliations.
•Supplier statement reconciliations.
Banking and Payments
•Bank reconciliations.
•Setting up payments on the bank.
Credit Control
•Assist with credit control.
Other
•Assist with yearly audits.
•Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
•Assist with VAT returns.
•Provide general support to the finance team as required.
The salary for this role is £23,000 to £25,000 + Study Support towards AAT. Please apply now for immediate consideration
