Your role & responsibilities as an SEN Support Assistant:
* Supporting students with SEN requirements on a 1-1 basis
* Work effectively with social and emotional factors affecting a child’s capacity
* Working with and supporting families from diverse communities
* Adapting your style to suit all individual needs
Non-negotiables:
* Have previous experience supporting young children with additional requirements
* Able to deal with challenging behaviour
* Strong awareness and application of safeguarding in a school environment
* Ability to assess and accommodate individual learning needs of students
