Estimator

We Build Recruitment are on the lookout for an Estimator based in or around Stockport to join an expanding joinery company who also manufacture their own projects.

Projects are a mixture of commercial and Residential. On the commercial side it includes buildings such as offices, schools/unis and prisons.

The salary is negotiable and dependant on experience. For this, you’ll need experience with joinery packages and preferably bespoke joinery to. They’re open to someone with a small amount of joinery estimation experience or someone that’s just coming off the tools but been in a joinery position. The salary on offer is between £40-£50,000.

Intially this role will be in office however, once more comfortable in the position, there is a discussion to be had around a more hybrid working model.

Job Role:

* Manage projects during the tendering and pre construction phase.

* Prepare estimates, cost plans and tender documentation using various forms of measurement and contracts.

* Manage and prepare both tender and contract documentation.

* Support and input into procurement and tendering processes and evaluation/award of contracts.

* Attend client meetings and provide input to the project.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Previous experience as an Estimator

* You must have prior experience with joinery packages either hands on or as an estimator

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

* Strong time management skills to ensure you meet agreed deadlines

* Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite
