Salary Scale: £75 - £100 per day

Start Date: ASAP through to July with a view to September position.

About the Role:

As a Reception Class Teaching Assistant, will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of our youngest students. You'll work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and enriching experiences that promote social, emotional, and academic growth. Your understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and expertise in phonics will be invaluable as you support children in their journey of discovery and exploration.

Role of a Reception Class Teaching Assistant:

Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering a dynamic curriculum that meets the individual needs of each child.
Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration, curiosity, and creativity.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to children, including those with additional needs, to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
Implement effective phonics strategies and activities to support early literacy development.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative and inclusive learning community.
The successful candidate will:

Relevant experience working with early years children, ideally within a school setting.
A good understanding of the EYFS framework and how to effectively implement it in practice.
Strong knowledge of phonics teaching methods and strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
A proactive and flexible approach, with a genuine passion for making a difference in children's lives.
