Leading law firm that works with both private and public primary care providers has an opportunity for a qualified solicitor to join their team as an associate.
Key Duties
* Work with Partners and other senior members of the wider primary care team on complex matters.
* Work on your own matters where appropriate.
* Drafting, reviewing, advising on and negotiating contracts of a nature listed above.
* Develop internal relationships as a starting point.
* Manage matters in accordance with client service level agreements.
* Achieve financial and chargeable time targets.
* Complete client management information as and when required.
Skills and experience required
* Experience of working on commercial contracts at 3 to 5+PQE level.
* Experience in primary care.
* Knowledge of NHS primary care service contracts.
* Knowledge of NHS primary care funding.
* Willingness to learn new areas – including some of technology, data and public procurement.
* Good drafting skills with attention to detail.
* Commercial awareness.
* Conscientious, self-motivated, hard-working, and responsive.
* Critical thinking abilities and excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills.
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Willingness and ability to support junior team members.
* Ability to work to strict deadlines and client protocols while maintaining high standards.

* Negotiable salary depending on experience, £65-70k as a guide.
