We are looking to recruit on behalf of our client, an experienced Talent Acquisition Officer to join their business on a permanent basis.

The successful applicant will be responsible for identifying and sourcing new talent to join the client's team. This role involves collaborating with department heads to understand staffing needs, developing effective recruitment strategies, and managing the end-to-end recruitment process. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for talent, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with Heads of Department to determine staffing needs and job requirements, signed off by SLT and the Directors.

* Support developing and implementing effective internal and external recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

* Source and screen candidates through various channels, including internal databases, employee referrals, referral partners, and social media platforms, recruitment websites.

* Conduct pre interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit within the company culture.

* Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting and candidate sourcing to offer negotiation and coordinating onboarding.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities and candidate interactions.

* Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.

* Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment metrics and progress to Head of People & Culture

* Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

* Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.

* Adhere to safer recruitment process and ensure all new staff members receive information, benefits packages and offer letters and contracts of employment.

* Work with Business Services Manager to ensure correct information is supplied for payroll.

* Apply for candidates DBS certificates.

* Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and potential candidates.

* Strong organisational and time-management skills.

* Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

* High level of discretion and confidentiality.

* Be able to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in order to meet the challenges and demands of the role.

* Be willing to undertake a DBS Enhanced Disclosure check.
