Role: Business Development Representative

Location: Manchester (Hybrid)

The Role:

* Work closely and collaboratively with account executives (also known as sales reps) to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies.

* Conduct high volume prospecting to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media.

* Schedule discovery meetings & demos for an account executive to further assess a prospect's business and potential for partnership with Medius.

* Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned.

* Help companies realize the benefits of AP Automation

* Set yourself up for a successful career by learning the necessary fundamentals to be a great salesperson, leader, and executive.

* Utilize an outstanding tech stack (Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, etc) to optimize your productivity and output.

The Ideal Candidate:

Essential:

* Excellent communicator, both verbally and written.

* Full professional English.

* Graduate/Professional – Motivated and Driven to get into complex sales.

Desirable:

* Some experience in sales (retail, car sales… any Sales!)

* Able to understand and explain complex products.

* Background in finance/banking/procurement is beneficial.

What you’ll get:

* £25,000 - £30,000 base with £47,000 - £52,000 as an overall OTE (uncapped)
