Year 1 Class Teacher – Hulme, Manchester
Educate GM's partner school in Hulme, Manchester are seeking a Year 1 Class Teacher to join their nurturing and diverse community.
The role is full-time, for the full academic year and will commence from September 2024.
The school is an influential and thriving school in the heart of bustling Manchester, close to the city centre where the students flourish under the guidance of the passionate and dedicated staff members. The teaching and support staff uphold the highest standards of excellence and foster a culture of teamwork.

The school principal is looking to welcome an experienced Year 1 Class Teacher into their community of educators and learners. The class is a lively class and the teaching style will need to reflect this with their energy and engaging planning. This is a two-form entry school and you will work together with the parallel teacher.
You will need great knowledge of the National Curriculum and a proven ability to help pupils succeed both academically and personally by also promoting children's mental and physical health taking a child-focused approach to learning.
To be successful in this role you will:
* QTS status
* Experience in teaching in EYSF and/or KS1is essential to this role
* Exceptional knowledge of the National Curriculum
* You will need great behaviour management
* A genuine passion to support each child to reach their true potential
* All candidates must have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS)
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
