Job Title: Head of English (Teach and Literacy & Reading Coordinator)

Location: Salford (M6)

The role will be based with our partner schools, special educational needs schools and alternative provisions. The environment is nurturing, with smaller class sizes and more one to one support. Our students thrive with the support of our incredible staff.

Responsibilities:

Leading teaching across the English Department, ensuring that teaching and learning is outstanding.
Ensuring that pupils make expected process and that ambitious targets are met
Development of the curriculum
Performance Management of Teachers
Completing auditsRequirements:

A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
Experience of working within an English teaching role
Appropriate teaching qualification
Excellent communication and people skills
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
Flexibility and adaptability in a busy environment
