My client is in search of an M&E Asset Surveyor to join their vibrant team. As part of this role, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering vital insights into the condition of M&E and Building Fabric assets for clients across diverse sectors. Responsibilities include conducting nationwide surveys on client properties, covering Mechanical and Electrical and/or Building Fabric assessments. This entails validating, tagging, and meticulously recording assets, confirming their locations, and conducting thorough visual inspections to assess their condition, alongside providing evaluations of their life expectancy.

Essential Requirements:

Sound understanding of Mechanical and Electrical Systems and Building Fabric.
HNC/NVQ/HND qualification or similar Building or Engineering professional qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.
Knowledge and understanding of UK building regulations, SFG20, and CIBSE standards.
Valid UK driving licence.
Extensive experience in conducting condition surveys covering M&E and/or Building Fabric assets.
Strong computer literacy skills with the ability to use Excel and learn other internal software platforms.Desirable:

High-level qualification in a Building Fabric or Building Engineering Services discipline.
Experience working in customer-focused environments.
Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
Experience in managing asset projects.
Ability to work autonomously.The Ideal Candidate:
