Location– Liverpool

Type of role – Full time Permanent

Start date – ASAP

Hours– Monday to Friday (37.5hrs/week)

Our client is a global business that specialise in test solutions for circuit board manufacture. With more than half decade of experience they have an excellent reputation for providing outstanding testing products to global well-known companies.

As a result of significant growth, our client is looking for Electronic/Mechanical Trainee Engineer to support their engineering team.

This role requires a team player to be able to work to deadlines and could use your own initiative.

Job specifications

Assisting the In-Circuit-Test (ICT) hardware department
Helping to prepare refurbished ICT systems for sale
- Disassembling test systems down to the chassis
- Cleaning, repairing & replacing parts
- Reassembling to a like-new condition
Diagnosing and repairing faulty PCBA
Diagnosing and repairing power supplies
Soldering / De-Soldering
Installing and servicing ICT systems
Essential skills/experience

An Electronics qualification
Practical experience with electronics
Some mechanical experience Strong self-organisational skills
Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
Keen problem solving skills.
Good PC skills
Good communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
The ability to work independently and efficiently
Strong self-motivation
Flexibility
Awareness of company health and safety requirements
A Driving Licence - Candidate should be willing to travel to customer sites for installations
and servicing when required.
