Able to think on your feet and engage with children.

Person Specification and Skills

You must be:

· Serious about a career in support

· An energetic team worker, able to handle difficult situations with humour and tact

· Committed to working with children & young people

· Resilient!

· Enthusiastic & highly motivated

· Able to make decisions and support others

· Creative & be able to use your own initiative;

· Poses excellent written, IT & communication skills

· Committed to personal development / reflective practice

· A full UK Driving License is preferred due to location and ability to transport residents too and from appointments

Experience:

Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Care/Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care (preferred)
