Salary – Up to £95,000 Per Annum DOE

Location – Liverpool + Hybrid 2 days from home

Role Type – Permanent / Full Time / 9-5 / Mon-Fri

The Role

In this strategic role, you will serve as the Finance Director for your business group, reporting directly to the Business Group Leader and the firm's overall Financial Director. Your responsibilities include driving financial performance, offering strategic support, and fostering relationships with key internal stakeholders such as Team Leaders, Partners, and various department heads.

You will lead monthly financial performance review meetings with top executives, including the CEO and COO, and oversee individual financial reviews with Team Leaders. Your role also entails reporting on financial metrics at various meetings, providing in-depth analysis to identify issues, and suggesting improvements.

Additionally, you will manage financial data within your group and for the wider business, develop projects to enhance financial understanding among Fee Earners, and initiate strategies to improve billing and revenue recovery. Your involvement will extend to supporting client pitches with dynamic pricing strategies and advising on tender pricing.

You’ll need to be - An experienced and qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA) with advanced Excel skills and extensive experience in management reporting and accounting. Ideally you will also have experience within the Legal industry.
