Ad-Hoc Teaching Assistant (Bolton) (BL6)

Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and contributing to a positive learning environment? A nursery we are working with in the BL6 area of Bolton, are looking for an energetic and caring Ad-Hoc Teaching Assistant to join the team immediately!

Position: Ad-Hoc Teaching Assistant
Location: BL6 area of Bolton
Working Hours: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and execution of daily activities for children aged 0-5.
Provide support to the lead teacher in ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Encourage and support the children's development and growth.
Supervise indoor and outdoor play, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
Help with meal times, rest periods, and hygiene routines.
Maintain open communication with parents and staff regarding children's progress and needs.
Requirements:

Experience working with young children in a nursery setting is preferred.
Enthusiasm for early childhood education and child development.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to different tasks as needed.
DBS check or willingness to undergo one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
