Role Summary

The Clinical Governance Manager at MCL Medics is a pivotal role, providing leadership and expertise in developing and implementing clinical governance principles across the organisation. This position is perfect for a health professional looking to influence and drive clinical standards and practices within a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support the implementation of clinical governance across MCL Medics
Conduct clinical audit across all Occupational Health policies and procedures in order to achieve agreed clinical governance objectives.

Provide clinical guidance and support to Nurses and Managers on agreed service levels.
Lead research, develop, and review clinical policies and procedures ensuring comprehensive understanding and adherence.
Evaluate audits, recommend and advise on practice improvements.
Investigate and manage clinical issues to ensure risk management and safest practices.
Review any clinical adverse events and implement any changes that will shape and inform future service delivery.
Interpret national guidance and policy relating to clinical governance and implement any such guidance.
Develop and implement effective training and communication plans.
Collaborate with teams to ensure best practices and continuous improvement.
Maintain the Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health (SEQOHS) accreditation.
What Are We Looking For?

Strong leadership and management skills in a clinical setting.
Excellent time management, planning, and prioritising skills.
Analytical and influential with a focus on continuous improvement.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office, databases, and information systems.
Experience in training, coaching, and staff development.
A registered (NMC) health professional with experience in a similar role.
Expertise in clinical governance, policy implementation and audit.
