Carmichael UK are seeking a crane coordinator for Sellafield in Cumbria on a long term basis Inside IR35
About the role:
To support the Lifting Manager in the execution of his duties, ensuring adequate manpower, plant, equipment and accessories are available in accordance with agreed programmes and schedules. The Lifting superintendent will be responsible for but not limited to:
Ensure cranes are issued safely and effectively in accordance with the project EOTC procedure
Ensure all EOTC checks are carried out prior to issue of the crane
Ensure no other work groups are working in the crane restricted Zone
Ensure correct lifting documentation is in place before issuing crane for use
Ensure attendance at Lifting Operations Site Stake Holder meetings.
Regular site walk downs to ensure adherence with the EOTC procedure.
Mandatory attendance at the project Plod
Manage isolations of the cranes with the electrical department.
Facilitate work wen required within the crane exclusion zone (Crane maintenance activity’s)
To liaise and coordinate the interface with other site personnel and team functions within the work areas ensuring sim ops are carried out safely and efficiently.
