We are looking for skilled Pipe Fitters to work on heavy industrial projects. Whether in the shop or on-site (you choose), you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems that are essential to operations. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
Must complete trade test.
Key Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute pipe fitting tasks.
* Fabricate and install piping systems, including cutting, threading, bending, and welding pipes as needed.
* Conduct pressure tests to ensure system integrity and identify any leaks or defects.
* Perform regular maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and hours worked.
* Operate and maintain various tools and equipment associated with pipe fitting tasks.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in heavy industrial projects.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
* Strong knowledge of various piping systems, materials, and fabrication techniques.
* Ability to use and maintain pipe fitting tools and equipment effectively.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
