Our client, based in Houghton Le Spring, is looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician with an Electrical Bias to join their maintenance team.
Hours of work would be Monday to Friday 40 hours. Shifts - 07.00am-3.00pm / 3.00pm-11.00pm.
Duties:
* Planned and preventative maintenance of manufacturing machinery & equipment within the manufacturing facility
* Reactive maintenance
* Identifying reliability issues, root cause problem solving and improvements
* Troubleshooting and repair skills with a strong Electrical bias
* Carry out other support maintenance work when required
* Ensure all machinery and equipment on site is both mechanically and electrically safe
* Work closely with production when investigating failures
* Adhere to Health and Safety requirements in line with company procedures
Requirements:
* Served recognised Electrical or Multi Skilled Apprenticeship
* 5 years minimum experience ideally within a Manufacturing environment
* Basic Mechanical skills/knowledge
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
* Commitment to Health and Safety procedures
