Are you seeking a change of school for the new academic year? An ambitious Engineering Teacher is required for schools located in South Tyneside. You will deliver Engineering lessons to KS3 and 4. This is a full time role which will begin September 2024 and will be a permanent role.

In this role you will be delivering curriculum in the field of Engineering. The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status and proven experience of delivering Engineering-based curriculum. A comprehensive programme of professional development including Health & Safety training is included.

This is a brilliant role for someone who has experience of teaching engineering but is looking for an exciting next step in their career.

The School

The school you will be working with was previously awarded specialist status as a Maths and Computing College. The school is rated 'good' by OFSTED, and has a well known reputation for their lovely staff and students. Free on-site parking and training will be supplied.

The ideal candidate would:

Have good classroom management skills.
Have a passion for teaching English.
Have excellent subject knowledge.
Be able to organise themselves.
Be able to plan effective, engaging Engineering lessons.
We are keen to hear from both experienced teachers or ECTs.
