SHEQ Manager
Location: Sunderland
Salary: £45k-£60k, plus 10% bonus, pension, and healthcare
Hours: 40 hours per week,

The Role:
To advise, guide and manage Sunderland site and functions on all aspects of health, safety, environmental and quality issues. Ensuring Site compliance operating as Upper Tier COMAH Site under the conditions of an Environmental Permit.
To ensure that the sites operate safely and effectively in line with current policies and procedures and to ensure the ongoing effectiveness and suitability of these management systems (certified to ISO(phone number removed) & 18001) .
The Ideal Candidate:
Degree (science), or significant commensurate experience. Level 6 H&S, Level 6 Env or significant commensurate competency.
COMAH, or High hazard Industry, or Chemical process Industry experience.
Human Factors experience including Safety Critical Task Analysis.
Risk assessment experience including Process Hazard Analysis (FMEA, Hazop, LOPA, HazID ).
Managing Environmental Permit.
Liaison with Regulator.
Managing compliance with ISO 9001/45001/14001.
Safety Management System experience including Management of Change, Continuous Improvement and Permit to Work.
