Responsibilities of this role include but limited to:

Due to continued success, we are looking for a Service Engineer who can use their outstanding engineering skills.

Candidates should possess good technical and electrical background, along with a knowledge of the practical application of engineering design & HVAC principles and be able to understand electrical engineering drawings.

An integral part of our Service Department team, you’ll be responsible for Servicing and improving the reliability of our Service contracts.

Your day-to-day role will primarily be completing Planned Preventive Maintenance of our existing service book. You will be expected to have an excellent rapport with our customers, identifying and recommending any energy efficiencies the customer can make, and highlighting any remedial works that are required to ensure the system is working to its maximum potential.

You will be required to complete a detailed report for each site you attend providing clear and concise information. Below is a list of tasks expected for each PPM visit (please note this list is not exhaustive).

* Carryout necessary planned system service and maintenance tasks to the HVAC building management system as per manufacturers’ recommendations.

* Perform system diagnostic and configuration checks to reduce the possibility of intermittent or permanent shutdown of the system due to hardware failure.

* Validation testing will ensure that control sequence and system interlock is in accordance with specification.

* Carry out simulated checks only to all field equipment (sensors, pumps, frost conditions manifolds, actuators etc.)

* Carry out visual checks to Mechanical Control Panels.

* Network and communication inspection checks.

* Carry out corrective action associated from the alarm log.

* Synchronise/verify pulsed meter values through the Software.

* Plant response and correct program and system operation verification

* Provide a full report and setting sheet upon completion detailing all works carried out along with any findings.

Experience and qualifications:

deadlines and operate effectively under pressure.

* HND/HNC or equivalent.

* Electrical Test & Inspection

* 18th Edition Wiring regulations

* At least 1 of the following

* Trend BEMS Experience

* Tridium BEMS Experience

* Siemens BEMS Experience

* ABB Cylon BEMS Experience
